Penticton couple charged with making counterfeit money

The man and woman also face other charges in connection to the Feb. 4 arrest

A Penticton man and woman have been charged with making counterfeit money.

A warrant was issued for Rylan Mogge in Penticton Provincial Court on April 7, on charges connected to a counterfeit money-making operation.

Mogge, 34, is charged with making counterfeit money, possessing counterfeit money, two counts of forgery, possessing stolen property under $5,000 and possession of forged documents with the intent to commit an offence in relation to a Feb. 4 incident out of a local motel room.

He is scheduled to next appear in court on April 21.

His counterpart Samantha Chappelle, 23, makes her first appearance in Penticton Provincial Court on May 5 charged with possession of counterfeit money, making counterfeit money and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
