Gas prices have shot up more than 10 cents this weekend.
Penticton gas prices skyrocketed over the weekend, with most outlets now selling regular gas at $1.22 a litre. Last week, gas prices were hovering around $1.09 or $1.10.
The cheapest gas in B.C., according to gasbuddy.com, now belongs to a Super Save outlet in Salmon Arm at $0.95.9/litre.
All the gas stations in Penticton are showing at 122.9. The cheapest gas station is at the Super Save on Green Mt. Rd. Yesterday, gas at the AFD in Twin Lakes was just $1.09.
There is currently no explanation for the increase.
In contrast, gas sits at .89 cents a litre in Calgary.
