Penticton Save-On-Foods worked for peanuts for the food bank

The second year of the peanut butter drive raised 77 cases for the Salvation Army Food Bank

The Penticton Save-On-Foods held their second Peanut Butter Drive for the Salvation Army Food Bank. For every jar of peanut butter purchased by a customer, the grocer donated a jar to the food bank.

This year, 77 cases of peanut butter were donated, a welcome donation because it is easily stored and, as with canned tuna, it is a good source of protein that can be used easily.
