Due to wet conditions, all racing at the Penticton Speedway has been postponed Friday night.

According to a release sent out shortly before 4 p.m. on Aug. 23, the track and bleachers are all soaked from rain the area has been experiencing throughout the day. As a result, Hornets, Streetstocks, Hit2Pass and Flying Destruction have all been postponed.

“We are going to cancel our racing tonight, but come at you tomorrow with the biggest, baddest destruction ever,” states the release. “We are going to do Flying Destruction AND Eve of Destruction both tomorrow night. Tonight (Friday) we will practice in the rain, $10 a car. If you already have tickets for tonight’s event, please join us tomorrow.”
