The upcoming Nov. 30 Vees game is also Anti-Bullying Night, and COBS Bread wants to make it an extra special occasion.
Stop by Penticton’s COBS Bread at 300 Riverside Drive on Sunday, Nov. 24, for a parking lot party with some of the Vees players and everyone’s favourite mascot, Harvee! The event runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and attendees will be able to mix, mingle and get their photos with the players.
While there, you can purchase a specially-made pink scone with proceeds going to whichever local school cheers the loudest at the Nov. 30 game.

Other local businesses have also partnered with this cause to fundraise for the winning school at the parking lot party, including Tbones which will be hosting a hot dog BBQ by donation and Quality Green which will be offering healthy snacks by donation.
Smooth Effects will also be hosting a silent auction with all proceeds going to the winning school. COBS Bread has already pledged to donate $500 to the winning school, so all fundraising dollars raised at the parking lot party will be added to this pot.
