Phase 3 of shopping centre includes two buildings

Nova Scotia-based Crombie REIT has submitted a development permit application for Phase 3 of the Crown Isle Shopping Centre at Lerwick and Ryan roads.

Nova Scotia-based Crombie REIT has submitted a development permit application for Phase 3 of the Crown Isle Shopping Centre at Lerwick and Ryan roads.

The owner intends to add two new buildings with landscaping. The larger is expected to be 12,023-square feet. The second building includes a restaurant space, 3,758-square feet, with a 1,000-square foot patio, and two retail units between 1,250- and 1320-square feet.

The new buildings will be located on the vacant pad sites at the Ryan/Lerwick intersection.

“The addition of these two new buildings will mark the completion of the shopping centre development,” said Kevin Pritchard, Crombie REIT’s director of development for Western Canada.

The company owns the entire Crown Isle Shopping Centre.
