After exciting fans during the 2011 Peach Festival, Canadian band Trooper returned to an equally appreciative audience.

Trooper returned to the Penticton Peach Festival due to popular demand.

The band entertained the crowd gathered at Okanagan Lake Park on Aug. 7 regaling them with hits such as, Raise a Little Hell, We’re Here for a Good Time (Not a Long Time) and Boys in the Bright White Sports Cars. Opening for Trooper was Robyn & Ryleigh and Friends, who were joined by David Wills, the former lead singer for the band, Stonebolt.

Also taking place on Thursday evening during the Penticton Peach Festival was the annual Sandcastle competition.
