A clear and pleasant July 8 was a perfect night to kick off the Summer Serenade concert series in Pitt Meadows.
The series, featuring the Bruce James Orchestra, returns to Pitt Meadows Spirit Square with the first concert last Wednesday and shows at 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday following including tonight (July 15) and July 22 and 29, as well as Aug. 5, 12, 19, and 26.
It features music from the 1940s to present day celebrated with big band style, and as performed by the nearly 20 orchestra members.
Not only does the Bruce James Orchestra get toes tapping, those interested should bring their dancing feet along if they’d like to move and groove to the sounds of swing.
