The 2017 Van Isle 360 International Yacht Race began today in the Nanaimo harbour waters.
The biennial race will see participants making stops along the way to Victoria, ultimately making their way back up to Nanaimo.
According to Jeff Motley, race organizer, 32 entries are in the race.
