Police are investigating after shots were fired in Cloverdale Thursday night.
Surrey RCMP say they received reports of shots heard in the 19000-block of 64 Avenue shortly before 10: 30 p.m. When they arrived, officers “found evidence confirming a shooting had occurred,” a police news release stated.
According to one witness, investigators could be seen canvassing residents of a townhouse complex.
Police say the shooter or shooters were took off before officers arrived and there were no signs of anyone being injured as a result of the shooting.
RCMP say early indications are that this shooting was a targeted incident and there is “no ongoing threat to the public.”

The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit (GIU) is investigating.
This is the 22nd shots fired incident of 2020 in Surrey.
