The Nelson Police Department says someone broke into a home in the Uphill neighbourhood early Wednesday morning and stole things while the elderly occupant was asleep.
“Police remind residents to ensure their doors and windows are secure at night and to report any suspicious activity,” Sgt. Corey Hoy said in a news release.
