A potentially dangerous situation in Courtenay has been diffused by Comox Valley RCMP.
Reports came in of a man in distress, possibly with a weapon, at a residence in the Anna Place cul-de-sac in Courtenay Sunday morning.
The situation, which turned out to be a mental health issue, was resolved peacefully, with no injuries to report.
