Firearms stolen during a break-and-enter in Lone Butte home

On Nov. 18, 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Horse Lake Road near the intersection of Mahood Lake Road.

The driver of a 2006 Dodge Caravan lost control on the gravel on the surface of the road. The van left the roadway, went into the ditch and rolled over onto its roof.

The four occupants of the van were able to make their way out of the vehicle. No one was injured as all of the occupants were wearing their seatbelts.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. No charges are being contemplated in this incidence.

Crime Stoppers Tip of the Week:

Sometime between Nov. 14 and 16, unknown culprits broke into a residence located in the 7000-block of Thomas Road in Lone Butte. Entry was gained through a basement window. Two firearms and a small quantity of ammunition were stolen from the residence.
