Sometime during the early hours of March 12 a pickup truck was stolen from a local hotel. Later that same day, that truck was associated to a theft in the 100 Mile House area. A second vehicle in the parking lot was tampered with and items stolen. Items missing include hockey equipment, a GPS system, DVDs and headset, ICBC registration papers, and a garage door opener. Both of these incidents involved families from Revelstoke who were in Clearwater for a tournament.
