Chilliwack RCMP are hunting for a man who robbed a local restaurant Tuesday night.
Just before six p.m. the suspect entered the business in the 46200 block of Yale Road. With his face covered, he reached over a countertop, grabbed money and food, darted outside and ran away.
By the time police arrived and searched the area, he had disappeared.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing light grey pants, a grey vest and jacket with black sleeves.
He was also carrying a brown satchel bag.
“Our General Investigation Support Team and RCMP Forensic Identification Section continue to follow all investigational leads to apprehend the person responsible for this robbery,” said RCMP Cpl. Mike Rail. “We are also looking at whether this latest robbery may be connected to any others.
