Oak Bay police seek owners of a series of paintings discovered on the street Monday morning.

Someone spotted eight canvasses adjacent to a bus stop in the 2100-block of Foul Bay Road Dec. 9, said Acting Sgt. Davindar Dalep of Oak Bay police.

“They were wet so he brought them in and dried them out,” Dalep said.

The resident then brought them to the Oak Bay Police Department.

“We’re looking for any information pertaining to the ownership of these paintings,” Dalep said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Oak Bay police, citing file number 17-88 at the office at 1703 Monterey Ave or by calling 250-592-2424.
