If you’re going to drive drunk and cut someone off in traffic, you should probably make sure the vehicle isn’t equipped with lights and a siren.
A 30-year-old Parksville driver learned that lesson the hard way this week after allegedly cutting in front of a marked police car.
Oceanside RCMP Cpl. Richard van de Pol said the officer smelled liquor coming from the driver’s breath and, “after a breath test, he had his vehicle impounded and lost his licence.”
