The following bylaws were adopted by council during the regular meeting of council held at the Princeton Library Conference Room on Monday, May 5:
Town of Princeton Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 887, 2014 (to amend the Town of Princeton Bylaw No. 880, 2013) – a rezoning of Single Family Residential (105 Copperhead Road) to Two Family residential
Town of Princeton Financial Plan Bylaw No. 888, 2014 – the financial plan for Princeton for the years ending December 2014 to 2018,
The Town of Princeton Tax Rates Bylaw No. 889, 2014 (property tax rates for 2014),
The Town of Princeton Traffic and Highways Regulation Bylaw No. 890, 2014 – general use regulations, speed, stop-standing and parking, traffic control devices, obstructions and sidewalk café permits and licensing agreements.
The business to first engage in a sidewalk café in Princeton is Thomasina’s, located at 279 Bridge Street.
Development of the café is currently underway, with the removable walkway being created first.
