Deputy Mayor Jason Earle is at the Urban Wildlife Challenges and Management conference in Cranbrook today to learn more about how to manage urban deer.
He is joined by leisure services manager Lyle Thomas.
The conference will be an opportunity for council and staff to gain information as they begin the provincial-regulated Urban Deer Management Strategy.
Princeton residents have debated whether the deer living in town are a problem, and town council vowed it will look into solutions.
