Princeton Hospital emergency department is closed until 9 p.m. tonight (Feb. 27) due to a lack of doctors available to work, Interior Health reports.

The emergency room has been closed since noon today, and was originally supposed to remain closed until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.

In the event of an emergency, call 911. For non-urgent matters, residents may wish to use the emergency department in Penticton.
