Princeton’s poppy campaign typically raises $10,000

The Princeton Legion's annual poppy campaign is winding down.

The Princeton Legion’s annual poppy campaign is winding down.

Earlier this month Mayor Spencer Coyne receiving the first poppy at the Legion, presented by Wayne Terepocki.

Terepocki, Legion vice-president, said the campaign usually generates about $10,000 each year.

That money is put into trust and used exclusively to provide support to veterans, he said.
