School District 27 (SD27) schools superintendent Diane Wright says she is pleased to announce Kelly Glen has been appointed as principal of Tatla Lake Elementary-Junior Secondary School, effective Aug. 1.
Glen has been employed with SD27 since 2007. Prior to her appointment as principal, she worked as a teacher at the 100 Mile House Elementary, Buffalo Creek Elementary, Mile 108 Elementary and Lac La Hache Elementary schools, as well as Distance Learning.
Stephen Carpenter has been appointed as principal of Lac la Hache Elementary School, effective Aug. 1. He has been employed with the SD 27 since 2006. Prior to his temporary appointment last year as Lac La Hache Elementary School principal, he was a teacher at Tatla Lake Elementary-Junior Secondary, Mountview Elementary and Columneetza Secondary schools.
