Two prominent eastern Abbotsford intersections are among those set to get traffic signals this winter.
The city is planning to install signals at the intersection of Marshall and McMillan road – and at Old Yale Road and Delair Road.
The two intersections lie on key residential routes.
The city will also install a signal light at the junction of Marshall Road and Foy Street. The industrial area has seen substantial development in recent years, and the intersection lies over the peak of a hill.
City staff say construction is expected to be finished in January of 2021, weather permitting.
On Monday, Council are set to award a contract for $770,000 to complete the work.
