Alarm bells are ringing after an expert panel recommended the provincial add some new taxable items under the return to Provincial Sales Tax (PST).
Charged with examining how British Columbia’s business taxes can be made more competitive under the return to the PST, the panel recently came back with a report advising taxation on some previously exempt items.
