Quesnel builder Joe Hart was recently elected 1st Vice President of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) of British Columbia.

The association represents more than 8,500 member firms across Canada, including more than 2,000 CHBA B.C. members — like Hart and his company Icon Homes Ltd.

According to a press release, the association represents members from every area of Canada’s housing industry, including builders and renovators, land developers, trade contractors, manufacturers and more.

Hart is also the current president of the CHBA Northern B.C. Board, with one year left in his term. He previously served as a director on the same board.

Hart and his company are also currently working on building Northern B.C.’s second net-zero energy home.
