CAMPAIGN WORKERS for New Democratic incumbent Nathan Cullen wasted little time in opening up offices now that the federal election race has officially started.

Signs, furniture and other items were being moved in before noon March 26 at the office in Terrace. Offices are also being opened up in Prince Rupert, Kitimat and in Smithers.

Facing off against Cullen in the Skeena – Bulkley riding are Conservative Clay Harmon, Christian Heritage Party deputy leader Rod Taylor and Roger Benham from the Green party. The federal Liberals have yet to announce plans for a candidate.

Terrace voters should mark off April 20 on their calendars. That’s the date of an all candidates meeting at the REM Lee Theatre hosted by The Terrace Standard and a variety of other organizations.

Voting day is May 2.
