The Cariboo is getting a good soaking Friday and into the weekend.
Periods of rain and between five to 10 millimetres is in the forecast for Friday, with a daytime high of only 8C.
More rain is in the forecast Saturday before sunny skies return Sunday and stay throughout the week with daytime temperatures in the high teens.
All open fires are allowed again in the Cariboo Fire Centre due to the decreased fire risk.
Meanwhile on the coast, the Lower Mainland is getting drenched with rain over the next few days. Rainfall warnings and special weather statements remain in effect for the area.
