100 Mile RCMP responded to 87 complaints and calls for service during the past week.
RV break-in
On April 2, 100 Mile RCMP received a complaint of a theft from a secure compound at Meridian RV.
An unknown culprit had cut the perimeter fence and then entered a trailer unit, stealing an amplifier and a radio. Anyone having information about this incident is asked to call the 100 Mile House RCMP at 250-395-2456 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Multi-vehicle incident
On March 29, the lights at the intersection of Highway 97 and Canim-Hendrix Lake Road were flashing amber, and a southbound black Ford pickup was waiting to turn onto Canim Hendrix Lake Road.
A grey Pontiac Sunfire turned onto Highway 97 from Canim Hendrix Lake Road colliding with a northbound 2004 Chevrolet pickup on Highway 97.
The northbound vehicle attempted to avoid the collision, but was not successful.
The northbound vehicle then impacted with the stationary truck in the southbound lane.
There were no injuries to any occupants, and the vehicles were towed. The damage is estimated to be $75,000 for the three vehicles.
The driver of the Pontiac Sunfire was issued a ticket for failing to yield to the right of way.
Domestic disturbance
On March 29, 100 Mile RCMP responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 5400 block of Park Drive in 103 Mile House.
During the investigation, it was determined the suspect was currently on conditions of having no contact with the alleged victim. The suspect was determined to be in breach of those conditions.
He was arrested and held for court.
A charge of breach of recognizance was recommended to Crown counsel against a 36-year-old 103 Mile House resident.
