RCMP are appealing to the public for help after four more snowmobile were reported stolen over the past week.

First, on Jan. 20, at about 1 p.m.a trailer and two sleds were stolen from behind the Nelsen Lodge at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Both snowmobiles are described as 2000 Ski-Doos, black in colour. One had a 600 cc engine and the other was 700 cc.

Then, on Jan. 23 at around 5 a.m., police were informed of a theft that occurred on the 1600 block of Third St. West at the Monashee Inn. A 2006 Ford F-350 Harley Davidson Edition truck, grey in colour, with a trailer carrying two snowmobiles were missing. Both sleds were black Ski-Doo Summits. One was a 2008 model and the other was a 2011 model.

Police have no suspects on either theft. Earlier this month, in a story related to other snowmobile thefts in December, the RCMP said they suspected the sled thefts were connected to an organized crime ring in the Okanagan.

Anyone with information about the recent thefts is asked to call the Revelstoke RCMP at 250-837-5255 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visit www.bccrimestoppers.com.
