RCMP seek public’s assistance identifying alleged credit card thief in Nanaimo

Individual allegedly used stolen credit card to make multiple purchases

Nanaimo RCMP are hoping the public can identify an individual who allegedly used a stolen credit card at five businesses in south Nanaimo.

The incidents happened on June 23 and the suspect allegedly stole the credit card from a parked vehicle, according to a police press release.

Several hundred dollars in fraudulent transactions were made by the individual police said.

The credit card has since been cancelled by its owner, the press release notes.
