RDN Transit is offering free rides to get people where they need to go on New Year’s Eve.
According to the RDN Transit website, bus service hours will be extended, and free from 8 p.m.-2:30 a.m., “to help everyone to enjoy New Year’s Eve festivities safely.”
“B.C. Transit wishes you and your family a safe, happy holiday season and a happy new year in 2019,” added B.C. Transit in a press release.
Other than the early-morning trips to cap off New Year’s Eve, there will be no Jan. 1 bus service. Reduced weekday service will be in effect Jan. 2-5.
