Regional District of Nanaimo directors received information about plans to update secondary wastewater treatment at the Greater Nanaimo Pollution Centre, which will ensure it meets governmental requirements and provide capacity up to 2039.
A staff report said a tender period will run from December to February, with a recommendation coming to the board in March.
