Construction activity is remaining steady within the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen this year.
In September, the regional district issued a total of 69 building permits with a total dollar value of $6,648,872.

The permits include 12 single family homes with a value of $3,453,155, four mobile homes with a value of $684,634 and 19 additions, renovations and plumbing permits with a value of $1,586,614.
So far this year, 399 permits, with a total value of $41,885,178 have been issued.
By comparison, in September 2019, the regional district issued 26 permits with a value of $2,607,492.
From January to September 2019, the regional district issued 405 permits, with a value of $37,381,686.
