Despite the cooler weather and impending snow, all ages came out to remember those who fought and died for our freedom.
After a ceremony at the Tillicum Twin Theatres, the parade marched down Lakelse Ave. to the cenotaph at city hall where wreaths were laid as light snow fell.
Captain Jim Vanderheyden of the Salvation Army gave the opening and closing prayers.
Afterward the parade marched back to the Safeway parking lot for warm beverages. The Happy Gang Centre invited children and their parents for hot chocolate.
Below are some of our photos taken at the cenotaph before, during and after the ceremony.
