Repairs to Memorial Arena begin

Planned repairs to Memorial Arena in Penticton have started

Planned repairs to Memorial Arena’s exterior roof structure are now underway with construction of a scaffold staircase being one of the first pieces of the project.

The City of Penticton reminded that the arena remains open for dry floor use.

“There is no impact to facility operations while these repairs are completed,” said facilities supervisor, Chris Schmidt. “The City expects to complete all work by June.”

The exterior roof repairs follow associated repairs on the indoor arches, of which 90 per cent of that project is now complete.
