It has been a while since parents have seen a report card come home from school because of the ongoing labour dispute between teachers and the government — but that is about to change.
School District 69 (Qualicum) is informing district parents and students that report cards will be provided to all students during the week of April 30.
In a press release the district announced it has been very pleased with the positive feedback it has received from many parents about the excellent communication that has taken place between parents and teachers during the difficult times this year.
Administrators said that teachers have done a remarkable job of keeping parents well informed about student progress.
However report cards will provide a formal accounting for all students and parents.
