A new venue has just been announced for the Enbridge joint review panel hearings in Skidegate this week. The community hearings will be held at the George Brown Recreation Centre in Skidegate rather than the smaller community hall. The dates and times remain the same: March 21 and 22, starting at 9 am both days. The three-member joint review panel will be listening to registered intervenors during this round of hearings. The panel is examining the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline, which would transport bitumen from Alberta to Kitimat, where it would be loaded onto tankers to be shipped to markets in China.
