From Aug. 28 to Sept. 5 Jen Block and Chris Goble are cycling from Port Hardy to Victoria (roughly 600 km) to raise awareness of the ongoing stigma against people who use substances.
Their ride corresponds with International Overdose Awareness Day (Aug. 31).
The pair have teamed up with the Comox Valley HealthCare Foundation. Their goal is to raise $10 per km they ride, meaning a goal of $6,000 to fund peer inclusion and/or initiatives that support people living with substance use and work towards decreasing stigma.

As an added incentive the first 16 donations of $125 or more get an ‘out of the shadow’ limited edition signed and numbered print – red variant, created by local artist agabreal (instagram: @crows_of_arcana) There are only four prints still available at this time.
