Robbery on Miller Rd.

On July 14, 2011, Burns Lake RCMP responded to a break and enter at a residence on Miller Rd. North.

On July 14, 2011, Burns Lake RCMP responded to a break and enter at a residence on Miller Rd. North.

The suspects forced their way inside the residence over night, as well as a detached workshop and left with approximately $15,000 worth of power tools. Items included two Dewalt chop saws, two Skil skill saws, a Black and Decker saber saw, a Black and Decker electric hand planer, a Hilti hammer drill, a laser level, a Husqvarna XP chain saw with a 24” bar and some geothermal tools.

The same night three storage containers on Government St. were also broken into and a new, packaged Generac pressure washer was stolen.

On July 15, RCMP arrested an 18 yr. old male, a 20 yr. old male as well as a male youth in connection with the break and enters.

Then on July 16 another male youth was arrested in connection with the break and enter at Miller Rd. North.

All four accused males were released and are scheduled to appear at the Burns Lake Provincial Court.

RCMP obtained a warrant to search an outbuilding on a property in Burns Lake which led to the recovery of the stolen items.
