Princeton families have an opportunity this weekend to enjoy the great white north and all its activities, courtesy of RockRidge Canyon.
Tobogganing, tubing, outdoor skating and zip-lining are all being offered, along with trail hikes, hay rides fires, cocoa and hot dogs.
And it’s all absolutely free.
RockRidge Winterfest is Saturday January 12, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and the entire community is invited, said spokesperson Curtis Cottrell.
The event is an opportunity for residents to see the facilities, and enjoy the amenities.
RockRidge Canyon is a year-round conference and banquet facility which runs Christian-based camps during the summer months.
“We don’t want to be an enigma,” said Cottrell. “We are only a few minutes from town yet, while we host over 8,000 guests per year, not everyone from Princeton has had an opportunity to come out and enjoy the unique property and facilities. Many of our staff live in Princeton and their spouses work in town and kids go to school there. This open house is one way to say thanks to our local friends, community and businesses who have supported us over the past 17 years as we’ve grown.”
