The City of Rossland has announced that in-person council meetings will start again at the Miners Union Hall at 6 p.m. on July 13.
In a press release, the city said temporary signage, hand sanitation stations and spaced seating will help to reduce the threat of COVID-19 at the facility.
The city is also asking residents to consider wearing a mask while attending the meetings and to stay at home if they’re feeling unwell.
Rossland Public Library and the Rossland Pool are other public facilities that have recently opened with reduced operations.
While most in-person council meetings were suspended in mid-March, councillors continued to hold meetings electronically on a regular basis.
