Having hosted its first ever virtual Q & A session in place of its annual in-person orientation day for students in Grades 8 -12, Seven Summits Centre (7S) for Learning in Rossland is extending and expanding the invitation, making it even more flexible and tailored.

The innovative educator provides an alternative option for students, athletes and non athletes alike, to seek a self-driven public high school education with a difference.

Parents are invited to attend their own personalised virtual event, with or without their student, from the comfort of their dining chair, home office, living room or lunchbreak work station, on a day and time that suits throughout April and May.

For families who want to have real, tailored, conversations with administrators, teachers, and students, the 7S ‘On demand’ Spring Series enables participants to dive into the heart of what is important and gain an authentic perspective of life at 7S at a time that is convenient to them and in a format that they are comfortable with.

“We want to encourage honest, down to earth connections that resonate with local families and provide alternatives for those who are ‘zoomed out’ too,” said Vivienne Hurley, marketing coordinator, Seven Summits Centre for Learning. “We’re extremely flexible, can tailor the event to their needs, and can facilitate frank discussions on a variety of platforms which will enable families to direct the flow of conversation and address what is important to them.”

Seven Summits creates an exciting adventure in learning with Free Fridays, small classes and an entire cohort under 50 students. 7S also has an impressive track record of academic success since partnering with Navigate NIDES (School District 71): A 100 per cent graduation rate with 90-plus per cent achieving Honour Roll standing and two 7S alumni being Governor-General’s Academic Medal winners.

To book a session during the 7S ‘On Demand’ Spring Series, families can register their interest online at www.sevensummitslearning.com.
