Saanich cops look to ID bank robbery suspect

Saanich police are looking to identify this man. He is a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Monday afternoon.

Saanich police are asking for help in identifying a man they believe robbed a bank at gunpoint Monday afternoon.

The man entered the Bank of Montreal in the 3400-block of Cook St. around 12:40 p.m. on March 3. He produced what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money.

The man is approximately 5-foot-8, in his late 30s or early 40s, with dark, neck-length hair and a beard. He was dressed in business attire and wore dark-rimmed glasses.

Police are asking anyone who may recognize the man in the photo to call 250-475-4321 or Crime Stoppers at 1- 800-222-8477.
