The sockeye salmon are running in Stuart Lake again, and for the duration of the run, Vince Prince and Blondie Prince will be setting nets on the lake to harvest the fish for the community.
Both Princes, Treena Beauchamp and other helpers from the community clean the fish which is then given to Nak’albun School and elders in the community as well as special events.
While cleaning the fish on one sunny Sunday morning in September, Blondie said “This is why we say ‘no’ to Enbridge.”
