The Penticton Salvation Army Food Bank is thankful for the generosity the community has shown this holiday season.
Action Steel and employees donated $4,000 to the food bank to help those less fortunate. The company and it’s staff have now contributed approximately $30,000 to the food bank over the last eight years.
In addition, MP Richard Cannings collected food bank donations on behalf of Salvation Army from those that attending his Christmas Open House on Dec. 19.
Nature’s Fare Markets also donated $3,500 to Penticton’s food bank thanks to their Gather for Good event. The grocer chain has now donated a total of $50,000 to food banks across the region.
