The Abbotsford Police Department had a major presence at George Ferguson Way in historic downtown Wednesday afternoon due to reports of a man yelling about stabbing people.
At least seven police vehicles were seen rushing to the scene at the train tracks.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Judy Bird described the situation as a mental health call, and said the police have now cleared the scene.
