School Powwow fundraiser happening in Keremeos

  • Nov. 20, 2018 12:00 a.m.

A fundraiser to help offset costs for a powwow that brings students and families together from across the school district is planned for Nov. 29.

The annual fundraiser dinner and loonie auction is taking place at the Smilkameen Elementary Secondary School cafeteria starting at 5 p.m.

Those attending are reminded the front doors are still closed as construction work continues at the front of the school.

Indan tacos are the menu for the event and tickets are just $6 a person or $25 for a family.

The night includes the meal, loonie auction and 50/50 draws.

All proceeds go to the School District 52 annual powwow, which is being held April 26 and 27 at Similkameen Elementary Secondary School.
