DEASE LAKE. On March 7, 2014, the Dease Lake RCMP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on a residence located on Boulder Street.
Two individuals were arrested inside. A search of the residence located approximately 14.23 ounces of marihuana packaged for distribution, a large quantity of Canadian currency, and an unauthorized firearm.
Both individuals were arrested on scene and later released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking. Both will be making their first court appearance at the Dease Lake Provincial Court on May 27, 2014 in relation to charges of Trafficking a controlled substance and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
