Folks need to mail their cards and parcels soon if they want to have them arrive for Christmas.
Postal service deadlines for cards and letters are Dec.15 for outside the province; Dec.16 for within the province; and Dec.19 for local delivery.
To ensure a regular parcel mailed inside Canada arrives on time, Canada Post suggests people have parcels posted by Dec. 12. But, for those last-minute people, the Xpresspost send-by date is Dec. 21; and Priority is by Dec. 22.
Some suggested deadlines to have your international letters and cards arrive at their destinations in time for the holidays are close at hand, such as the Nov. 29 to Europe.
Folks still have time to mail items to the United States: cards and letters by Dec.13; holiday packages by Expedited parcel by Dec. 8; Xpresspost by Dec. 16; and Priority by Dec. 20.
