Seniors Advocate’s Penticton talk cancelled

Seniors Advocate Isobel Mackenzie's talk in Penticton Monday cancelled

A talk by BC’s Seniors Advocate Isobel Mackenzie scheduled for Penticton Monday morning has been cancelled.

Meeting organizers say Mackenzie will be in Penticton at a later date to speak on seniors’ issues in BC. There was no reason given for the cancellation.

The BC Government advocate was scheduled to speak before the South Okanagan Seniors Wellness Society’s annual general meeting at 11:30 a.m.

The meeting will proceed as scheduled at the Penticton Days Inn Conference Centre, 152 Riverside Drive, Penticton.
